I bring to your attention a little-known project by Luciano Cortez, a key member of such famous Argentine bands as VOMIT OF DOOM and ABOMINABLOOD. The only reason that convinced me to write about it in detail was the sound. In form, "inherit Decay" is a traditional Black/Death Metal band from both Americas, whose roots lie in the works of BLASPHEMY and BEHERIT. But the sound! It is not from this world, but from some deep, smelly, impenetrable cosmic shithole. With fairly simple effects, Luciano has created one of the most repulsive albums I've heard in many years. It combines the otherworldly with a very natural, familiar muck. It's like in the Dead Space series of games with their sentient moons created from rotten flesh. They are creepy, powerful, and incomprehensible, but their intentions are obvious. Listening to Luciano vomiting into the microphone is like pouring acid into your ears. An outstanding experience. A nuclear stench, indeed. I doubt that this album will show the ability to maintain an interest to itself for a long time, but right now I'm excited about it. For a quick acquaintance, I recommend the track ”Pantocrator Lies". Take a look at the disc on a video. Pay special attention to the most detailed depictions of the nightmarish spiders on the cover by Bubonic Artworks. It's worth the vinyl edition!
