I bring to your attention the newest work of AL-LA-ShT-ORR, which the reader of Bagnik Zine may know from HAMMER OV QLIPHOTH, ITHDABQUTH QLIPHOTH, as well as, possibly, from participation in DEATHMOON and PSALM 666. This character -an ethnic Belarusian, by the way - perhaps is the most extravagant figure in the ideological underground out here, and his creativity is appropriate. Before listening to any of his releases (or to releases of Art of Anticreation for that matter), I advise you first and foremost to get acquainted with the personality of AL-LA-ShT-ORR through an interview In Black Curse Zine #2 or through this one.
Reviews of physical releases oblige me to describe the music in as much detail as possible, but it's a bit difficult here. There is, as press release says, "almost a quarter of an hour" of it, that is, everything ends as soon as it begins. So that you understand, this is a quarter of an hour of fairy tales accompanied by Russian-African-Cuban folk instruments; for example, banjo and xylophone. Or maybe it's something else - hell if I know.
The tales from Uncle AL-LA-ShT-ORR are based on the Quimbanda - this is a very specific religious cult of Brazilian origin. It is not too esoteric, so there is a lot of information about it on the Internet. At first glance, fairy tales may seem like some kind of entertaining nonsense, but if we do not forget that the said horse is a person possessed by some spirit, everything becomes clearer, and many metaphors acquire meaning. However, not everything – probably, in order to fully understand the content of fairy tales, you need to know a lot about religious and occult things, and I have much more gaps than knowledge in this area. I am a simple, peasant person, and I associate horses primarily with plowing, grazing and horse apples. If you are interested in the topic, please visit this Telegram channel.
The release was issued in 44 copies on CD-R. I got my hands on the sixth copy out of seven, which have this creature, soaked in some shit, as bonus. Probably, if you eat it, you can quickly achieve complete clarity. Nice try, but I won't eat a cockroach anyway; my Never Stop The Madness extends to others , and I myself am saving virtues for the sake of a cozy tomb! Details on a video.
