Review: CEMETERY LUST – Rotting in Piss

In a review of the previous album, released 4 years ago, I scolded CEMETERY LUST for being quickly blown away after a few cool songs, but praised for a truly filthy and dirty atmosphere. To date, little has changed about the latter, but the songs have become much better. Americans are still playing dirty nauseous thrash metal where you won't find any non-obscene language. Cover of the album, showing the decayed Christ (?) pissed on by demons, speaks volumes. All songs are killer, fast and truly wicked. Pouring a lump to such a condition, when it is impossible to restrain the bladder, they wet everything with explosive chaotic solos in the spirit of SLAYER. Does it sound bad? So it is, and the musicians are proud of this, devoting themselves the song "I am trash". In fact, the "Rotting in Piss" is a complete thrash, in all senses of the word. If you like bands like NEKROFILTH and NUNSLAUGHTER, you've come to the right place, and if you needed a Bay Area sound... why do you even read it?
