6,3 \/ 10<\/span><\/p>\nI started listening to the IMPALED NAZARENE with a terrible delay - to tell the truth, only last year. 12-13 years ago, after seeing their video clip, I thought it was some kind of bullshit, and the Finns firmly entered my list of \"no-go\" -groups. When I got to their discography in 2020, I realized that I was very wrong. IMPALED NAZARENE is an example of a band that is not only bold and unique, but also one that has not lowered the bar for ten albums, no less. In fact, it was only in the very latest works that they moved away from boozy metal into some kind of second-rate Swedish-like bullshit. Given the 7-year gap between the last albums, the band could have realized their mistake, but this did not happen. \u201cEight Headed Serpent\u201d turned out to be not at all bright and not very diverse album, and there isn't much to write about. Spiteful, but somehow suppressed music, as if it was recorded at morning after three night shifts in a row. Even the rock and roll manifesto \"The Nonconformists\u201d sounds false. If you do not know in advance, then you will not say that this is IMPALED NAZARENE. The spirit of musical hooliganism has been lost. Mediocre album.

An unpleasant moment: there is a high probability that IMPALED NAZARENE quietly jumped off the Steelfest-2022 festival when they felt they could be banned at German festivals because of that (again). No official announcements have been made so far, but Steelfest has disappeared from the band's touring schedule for the near future. If this is true, what are the cost of all their big words and the press release for the Osmose which proclaims that the Finns have come to fuck up miserable brat, posers and SJW junkies with their \"cancel culture\"?<\/p>\n
