Probably because their music is not totally grindcore and it alsos focuses on real things like zombies and apocalypse, not on sentimental stories about how the evil Nazi government stifles and oppresses anyone. And there is also Pete Sandoval! Having found the Lord, the legendary drummer had problems with his back, but he still continues to do wonderful things with his drum kit. Released on Season of Mist, \u201cHordes of Zombies\u201d for some reason was sold poorly and received by the public rather negatively, although it turned out to be three times better than the dubious \u201cDarker Days Ahead\u201d. For me personally, it is even cooler than the legendary \u201cWorld Downfall\u201d.The album of 2012 has excellent drums, characteristic vocals, unique style of riffs, killer songs - in general, all the components are at their best. The fusion of Sandoval's Death Metal and grindcore from RESISTANT CULTURE musicians made it possible. But in 2013, Pete invited other guys who never played grindcore stuff seriously. The bassist is an ex-member of MONSTROSITY and some obscure nonsense, the guitarist is from MONSTROSITY and OBITUARY, he also played in MALEVOLENT CREATION and ATHEIST. The experience of musicians has obviously affected the music of TERRORIZER: now it is almost pure Death \/ Thrash Metal, where grindcore influences are\u00a0<em>very<\/em>\u00a0rare. Most of the songs are really good. They are fast, tough, rhythmic. Some, however, are boring. But the originality of the music was gone, and even more so of the vocals. The voice is the weakest point of the album; a mediocre roaring in the vein of late MONSTROSITYis no different from a host of the same voices on a million faceless albums. In this case, it is not too important, but still spoils the impressions.
