Chilean Carlos from the famous band 13th TEMPLE is visiting the pages of my webzine more and more often, and this time I would like to pay attention to his project R\u00dcNDGARD. The debut album, released a few years ago, was an outstanding example of ancient Norwegian Black Metal + Russian RUNDAGOR worship. The new album is moving in a slightly different direction. This is also an ancient evil, but it combines the symphonic fury of EMPEROR, the ritual component of SAMAEL and BATHORY , and the primitiveness of the earliest BEHEMOTH. Despite the fact that the quality indicators of R\u00dcNDGARD's music have improved (sound, level of compositions, dynamics), the project has lost most of its originality. Now it is not much different from many other bands playing archaic black metal with rich keyboard parts.<\/p>\n

At this point, I sat for 15 minutes and racked my head, thinking what else to write, but my thoughts suddenly gone dry. \u201cUlvmonddom\u0101nen\u201d is 666% correct in everything, but there is nothing distinctive about it, and I do not want to repeat the verbiage about \u201dmirrors of the underworld\" and \"transformation of the spirit\" from the press release. The album is strong, I totally recommend listening to it, but buying -...? That's all.<\/p>\n
