I even wonder that the author did not get to the point that he called his project BATHORY WORSHIP, or even simply BATHORY - really, why not? Apparently, in the life of a guy named Hades there are only two things: BATHORY and video games. First EP of the project uses the painting of Peter Nikolai Arbo "The Wild Hunt" (1872) - Quorton used the another variant of the same painting made by Arbo in 1868, for cover of "Blood Fire Death". Also there is a song "A fine day to die" on EP that is not cover song. Some elements of first album's design are completely copied from TES V: Skyrim. "Shore of the Dead" looks more original from the first sight, but inside it's the same stuff, using BATHORY cliches here and there. I understand that the musician does it openly, honestly paying tribute to Quorton. but this is too much. He got almost all the classic works - from self-titled debut to "Blood Fire Death". Each - I emphasize, each - song from the album contains at least one piece of BATHORY music, that is presented practically without any changes. Fans can even test their knowledge, guessing where this or that riff is taken from. "A Fine Day to Die" (original, of course) is repeated like 5 times, no less. It can not be said that the Brazilian made a bad album - it sounds great, it's played well, except that Hades is not good as vocalist. But such blind copying is too much. For the future, I advise him to copy two or three more Bands - other Latin Americans have done so for a long time, and the result is almost always excellent.

Shore of the Dead by GOAT WORSHIP

[8

post-1201","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-arch","wpcat-8-id
["GET
