I think older readers of Bagnik Zine still remember a stir caused by space aliens in the late 70s, when they landed in France and were exposed by sergeant Ludovic Cruchot. Obviously, some of these guys (they are from Venus by the way) stayed for permanent residence in the country of baguettes and Bugattis. Over the years, Venusians have lost the ability to disguise themselves as people, which they themselves admit, but they have learned to make outstanding atmospheric music, as well as take control of people remotely. They do not make music for self-indulgence. Their goal is, no more no less, to help humanity achieve enlightenment and transcendental elevation. So, we have sorted out a truly grandiose thematic compoment, but after all, there is also music which also deserves attention. The second message from IDOLOS is fundamentally the same as the first one, published a year ago, but things are now noticeably better. The compositions have practically gotten rid of falseness and crookedness, there is no more hysterical gay screaming (well, almost). “Náa” offers 25 minutes of atmospheric metal with a post-something taste, and in this case it is good for the music. The slight vagueness makes the sound more meditative and holds it in line with the Venusian message, but does not bring the songs to the point that they turn into streams of sterile water. The neat “cosmic” parts of the synthesizer create an additional romantic halo for the album, in which images of distant worlds are seen. In general, the music of IDOLOS on this release is rather soft (again, it's not marshmallow shoegaze softness), enveloping the mind - that is, it turned out exactly as the creators intended. I advise you to listen carefully, because spiritual development is a real deal after all!
