Now this is why I became a reviewer! This supergroup was discussed for a long time, but only now BLASPHAMAGOATACHRIST (what a monstrous name!) issued their first record. Let me remind you that this formation is a joint project of Nocturnal Grave Desecrator from BLASPHEMY, drummer of ANTICHRIST and bassist and a guitarist from GOATPENIS. The latter was alarming, considering that their last album sounded like a pussy. But my expectations were more than justified. The band presented the purest black metal of war - simple as a stick, and equally effective. Most of all it reminds, fortunately, not a languid last GOATPENIS album, but the quintessence of BLASPHEMY music which was brought to modern sound standards. War until complete devastation is conducted in every note, it seethes, burns, detonates, crushes, crushes and sprays. The compositions turned out to be surprisingly solid and methodical, as if the were played buy a band band, the one that existed for many years, and not the project of members of different groups. Each soldier here fights like a beast, but the true general is definitely Nocturnal Grave Desecrator who is snatching out somethingfrom his throat. It's not just vocals, it's motherfucking armageddon! Just buy this tape, you hear me? The full-lenght is already in the making, if NWN says the truth.
