The second mini-album from the Chilean formation dedicated to the old metal of death. The concept of the album does not indulge with refinement: “Without Christ” - that's it. But what a music! This is Chile, where it seems that all metal musicians, even the most mediocre, are filled with genuine satanic spirituality. And GRAVERED are not mediocre. Their music does not focus on complexity, but on power, heaviness and ruthless deadly energy. Relatively leisurely songs combine elements of the Swedish school with Latin American primitive darkness enveloping you with every beat of ritual drums. The music is rushing forward like a diabolical bulldozer, leaving only ruins behind it. If some Christian mouse survives after that, then the monstrous vocals will scare shit out of it, leaving only the withered shell. I don’t know where Chileans take beasts like the one behind the microphone. Probably invoke them with Lovecraft's books. To finish off the listener, the group offers a cover of the legendary “Ridden with Disease” of AUTOPSY. And this is a killer cover. Unfortunately, for some reason the last song on the mini-album a pretty nasty thing, completely devoid of mastering, and it instantly disperses the atmosphere, which managed to thicken to petrification in the previous 18 minutes. What for, I ask? If you throw it out, you’ll get an almost flawless EP. No compromisos, indeed.
