Recently, the sad news has quietly and imperceptibly surfaced that BLOOD STRONGHOLD, a joint project of Nightwolf and Vened, was disbanded. But, obviously, the Australian genius wants to keep the tradition of having several bands playing the same thing, and he announced the creation of a new project called ANCIENT GUARD. The debut mini-album "Nightfall Enthroned" will be released on Iron Bonehead in 2024.
The second news is that RUNESPELL will now have a full line-up. In addition to Nightwolf, Basilysk (an Australian drummer known for DROWNING THE LIGHT, NAZXUL, PESTILENTIAL SHADOWS, TEMPLE NIGHTSIDE etc.) and the German IRRWYCHT (keyboardist of BAXAXAXA, vocalist of GRABUNHOLD) will participate there. I hope this won't lead to big changes – why break something that works perfectly?
